The National Television Awards are back, baby!

Airing tonight on ITV1 and ITVX, the annual celebration of the best of the small screen will see some our fave shows go head-to-head. Last year, there was a major twist: with Ant & Dec not scooping up the Best Presenter award after a 23-time winning streak.

What time do the NTAs start tonight?

The National Television Awards are taking place tonight at London’s O2 Arena, with the ceremony running for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The awards start at 8pm and end at 10.30pm.

The ceremony will be broadcast from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Who is hosting the NTAs?

The NTAs this year will be hosted by TV presenter Joel Dommett, who has hosted the awards four times previously.

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will be returning to host the red carpet for the third time.

Who is NTA host Joel Dommett?

Joel Dommett is the host of this year's NTAs and is an English comedian, TV presenter and actor.

Beginning his career in shows like Skins, he then pivoted into comedy. In 2016, he was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and from 2020 became the host of The Masked Singer.
