The exact regional launch schedule for Grand Theft Auto 6 on PlayStation 5 has been released.

The PlayStation Store has announced regional unlock schedules for the digital version of the crime action game Grand Theft Auto 6 for the PlayStation 5 console. The publisher has decided to forego a simultaneous global release in favor of a traditional phased launch, timed to midnight local time in each time zone. As a result of this distribution, the overall server unlock process will span 19 hours, divided into 15 consecutive waves.

New Zealanders will be the first to dive into the story campaign, where the pre-order timer will end on November 18 at 11:00 UTC, which corresponds to midnight in New Zealand on November 19. Australia and countries in the Asia-Pacific region will follow a few hours later. In central Europe, the large-scale launch is scheduled for November 18 at 23:00 UTC, when midnight will strike simultaneously in 19 European countries.

North American players will be among the last to unlock digital files on Sony's servers. In the United States and Canada, the game will launch on November 19th at 5:00 AM UTC, which is 12:00 AM EST in the Eastern Time Zone. Each player's local time will be locked for unlock time, and pre-downloads will begin early to save time.
