Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene welcome Red Cross National Society representatives to Monaco | Riviera Radio

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene received representatives of several Red Cross National Societies at the Prince’s Palace on Wednesday, 16 September.

The reception took place during the 10th meeting of the Small European National Societies (SENS) network, organised in Monaco by the Monaco Red Cross from 15 to 18 September.

This year’s gathering brings together National Societies from Andorra, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Malta, with representatives from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross also taking part.

The meeting provides an opportunity for Europe’s smaller National Societies to share experiences and strengthen cooperation, while addressing wider international humanitarian issues.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene are respectively President and Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross and have long supported cooperation within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The Princely Couple were joined at the Palace by Camille Gottlieb, Head of the Monaco Red Cross Youth Section.
